TR-840 single board computer is a direct replacement of our popular TR-979 SBC that has become EOL.
TR-840 single board computer comes with Intel Pentium 4, 3.0 GHz processor and is compatible with all PICMG type passive and active backplanes.
TR-840 compatible with older Windows operating systems, including Windows 98SE, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. This SBC is compatible with ISA legacy cards that need bus-master control.
It is based on the Intel 865G chipset, which is the last chipset from Intel that will support industrial ISA legacy cards. Later chipsets for dual core duo processors do not support bus-master control needed by many of the older ISA cards.
Transduction guarantees supply of this single board computer with P4 3.0 GHz processor. We have purchased large quantities of Intel 865G chipsets and P4 3.0 GHz processors to be able to supply this single board computer. We provide long term support for our industrial clients!
Actual MTBF of the TR-840 SBC, based on our service records is in excess of 100,000 hours. The warranty is
1 year.
The TR-840 SBC can be supplied with any of our rack or panel mount chassis and
PCI/ISA backplanes that you need. When supplied as part of the complete computer system from Transduction, the warranty is 3 years.
