STARDOM Model SR2 is a fault tolerant dual disk drive subsystem that fits into space of two 5.25” bays. It comes with two hot swap canisters for 3.5" hard drives that can be removed while the power is on. It will work with any operating system – no special software drivers are needed as it connects to the computer via USB, e-SATA or Firewire 800 ports.
RAID 0/1
Model SR2 RAID system has provision for two 3.5” hard drives up to 4GB each. The hard drive array connects to computer via various interfaces. Users can decide to connect the RAID system using USB 3.0 (USB 2.0 backwards compatible), e-SATA or Firewire 800.
Monitoring software
The SR2 is easily setup, configured and monitored via front panel LCD without the need to install any software. It is ready to use out of the box.
Reliable ventilated disk canisters
SR2 RAID system comes with easily removable hot swap disk canisters that are designed for the optimal heat removal from the hard drives. SR2 RAID system is very reliable. Actual MTBF based on service records is in excess of 100,000 hours. Warranty is 3 years.
